At the recent Nike Indoor Classic held at Prince George’s Sportsplex in Landover MD, some of our state indoor track champions tested themselves in national competition.

Glasgow’s Kamilah Salaam took second place in the 200 meters with a time of 25.12.
Caesar Rodney’s Jessica Schultz was 27th in the 400 meters with a time of 1:00.22.
Sussex Tech’s Rebecca Singh was 29th in the 800 meters with a time of 2:26.59.
Dover’s James Moore was 26th in the 200 meters in 23.44.
Salesianum’s Joe Donnelly was 9th in the freshman mile as he ran a 4:43.64.
Dover’s Jason Lilly was 4th in the 400 meters with a 49.50 mark.
Dover’s Odun Balogun was 20th in the 60-meter hurdles with an 8.41 time.
Dover’s 4x200 meter team consisting of Moore, Lilly, Balogun and Sam Sackely was 23rd running a 1:35.63.
Salesianum’s 4x800 meter relay team consisting of Ryan Hamill, Mike Zeberkiewicz, Dave Lobue, and P.J. Meany was 13th with a time of 8:13.10.
Smyrna’s Randy Faulkner was 12th in the Pole vault with a leap of 14-3.25.

Since there are ten different categories in the spring, I won’t go very deep in any category. This will be more like a list than anything else will.
