Jessica Breault Earns America East Field Hockey Rookie of the Week

BOSTON - University of Delaware freshman Jessica Breault has been named the first America East Field Hockey Rookie of the Week of the 2000 season.

Breault, a native of Southbury, CT, scored a goal in each of the Blue Hens' two games over the holiday weekend, including one in Delaware's 4-2 win over Ball State

Monday afternoon. She is the first freshman to score in consecutive games since October 4-6, 1998 when Juli Byrd scored in games against Penn and Duke.

The Blue Hens (1-2) host pre-season No. 1 ranked Maryland (3-0) Friday night at Rullo Stadium. Game time is 7 p.m.
