The Tigers of AI duPont and the Spartans of St. Marks took identical 8-0 records into battle on 10-7. Alex Kukich scored first in the second half with 31:38 left in the game.	Although the high scoring Sobhan Tadjalli didnt score he was happy that Andrew Englehart did to give the Tigers what looked like an insurance goal with 7:45 left in the game.
But there was a dim ray of hope for St. Marks when Mike Nantais scored with 5:19 to go.	And then just 24 seconds later, the Spartan sharpshooter Mike Piecuch shocked the Tigers with the game tying goal. Overtime was not played despite the chants from the excited crowd.
