Delcastle wins the D1 4x200 (Darin Barnes, Levin Carn, Tyrine Reams, Mike Downs) Brandywine freshman Jessica Leitsch edges Caesar Rodney senior Jill Hajec at the finish line of the 1600 meters. Cape's Matt Jackson wins the 1600 ahead of teammate Nick Adams. Jackson picked up 3 golds.
Tatnall's Meredith Lambert tripled taking the 800, 1600, and 3200 in convincing fashion. Dover's Odun Balogun holds up a thumb each for each hurdle gold he wins at States. Cape's Rebecca Hollingsworth wins the D2 high jump with a leap of 5'.
Sallies went 1-2-3 in the 1600 with Tom Lord (right) winning, Ryan Hamill (left) in second and freshman Joe Donnelly third (just behind Lord) McKean's Cetera Bunche cruises to an easy win in the D1 800 with a time of 2:18 St. Marks Jason Justison wins the D1 800.
Caesar Rodney's Jill Hajec winning the D1 3200. Howard's Mike Schmidt doubled with wins in the D2 200 and 400. The Caesar Rodney 4x200 state championship team. (Shawna McCoy, Latashia Stafford, Sheena Harris, Jessica Schultz)
Dover's Jason Lilly won the 100, 200, and 400. CR's Jessica Schultz won the 400. Polytech wins the D2 4x200 (John Drummond, Julius Cannon, Bruce Daye, Robert Waters)
Christiana's Matt Johnson won the D1 Pole vault in a jump off with Caesar Rodney's James Handley. Both cleared 14'0 Howard's Reggie Hopkins wins the D2 100 meter dash. Polytech's John Drummond won the 100 and 300 hurdles in D2
Concord's Schachia Murphy won three D2 championships in the 100, 200, and 400.... ...and was happy about it. Kamilah Salaam, from Glasgow, winning the 100 hurdles, the first of four individual championships for her. (300H, 100, 200.)
 
Salaam still has one year to go at Glasgow. Cape Henlopen sophomore Katherine DeVilbiss wins the 300 hurdles, her fourth D2 championship. (Pole vault, 100H, 4x100.)
