Archmere 1
Wilmington Christian 0

Auks reverse last year’s 1-0 WCS triumph. Valerie Felix with the game’s only marker. Auks host unbeaten Padua Friday, while the Warriors host Tower Hill. The Warriors have to start making hay! They always play a difficult schedule but this year’s finish is unusually brutal with Cape, Sanford and St Mark’s the final week.

Tower Hill 2
St Mark’s 0

Same score as last year in a very similar game. Scoreless at the half, Tower got a late second half pair, this time from Lindsay Griffith and Lauren Ianni. St Mark’s now ranks 35th on the UFO tournament scale. When will the cavalry be returning?

Sanford 5
St Andrew’s 0

With eleven goals in two games, Sanford seems more offensive this year. Warriors stay in conference with Tatnall Friday. SAS visits Red Lion.

Christiana 1
Padua 4

Padua’s JVs get the job done. Amber Santoleri stole the headlines with the Vikings’ first goal since 2003!

Laurel 2
Sussex Tech 5

Caitlin McCarthy, a pair, Beth Pavlik and Lindey Ellsworth, both one of each. Krista

Scott both for the Bulldogs.

Woodbridge 0
Dover 2

Colleen Andrews both for 3-0 Senators, Logan Nickerson with the shutout.

Lake Forest 2
Sussex Central 0

Juanita Smith the shutout, Jessica Makdad and Emily Vincent the goals.

Holly Grove 15
Delmarva Christian 0

Holly Groff, our favorite umpire, showed she can still play the game by putting 15 past….check that…..that’s Holly Grove, a team from Maryland. HG is 3-0 while averaging ten goals a game and allowing none.
