St Mark’s 2 Madison Leone’s golden goal wins it in the 70th minute for CR. Spartan Junior Liz Dematteis struck twice within sixty seconds to give St Mark’s a 2-1 second half lead before Jaimie Brittingham forced overtime. Jori Victory got the Riders out of the gate first before halftime. Katelyn Falgowski was held without a point. She went pointless only twice in 18 games last season, both Spartan defeats, versus Tower Hill and Concord. Next up for a "Kateless" St Mark’s Friends and Tower Hill.
Delcastle 1 Nikki Zeroles had an exciting varsity debut for the Blue Raiders, dropping a pair on Delcastle. Senior co-captain Olivia Pristavec added the third.
Correction The Red Lion – Caravel score should have read 2-1, not 2-0.
