Ali Schoched ‘em, converting a late PC for the game’s only goal. Friends turned up the heat but couldn’t put it in the cage. Sarah Cates stopped a late stroke to preserve her shutout. Brandywine (14-2) finished the season by winning four games in four days, all by shutout. Friends faltered the final week, losing four of four, while scoring only a single goal.

Padua kept Archmere off the board for sixty minutes last time, yesterday Tori Gagliardi found wood early. Annie Wilcox and Mary Reilly added second half scores, before Ms Gagliardi struck again in the game’s final minute. The Pandas finish their finest regular season at 13-3, while qualifying for their first ever tournament.
