GK Logan Nickerson with 21 saves under difficult circumstances. Both teams are scheduled to be back in action this afternoon, Cape at Delmar and Dover hosing IR.
Charter 1 Kimmy Schlezes and Sarah Shovestul traded first half goals, before Concord took over in the second half with three unanswered goals, two from Kelly Fox and one from Kim Tunell.
Ursuline 0 Five different Spartan scorers, this one was over early.
McKean 0 Scoreless midway through the second half, Mounties get the GW from Randi Goodman, her 18th, and the insurance from Heather Stevens. Mount is off to Middletown Wednesday.
Middletown 6 Middletown improves to 10-3 on multi-point games from Daphne Blakey, Libby Grange, Erica Crile, Tori Bobik and Brooke Tadlock.
College Report Hillary scored from Paige as the Schmidts prevailed over the Sackovichs, 2-1 in OT. Paige leads Princeton in goals with eight and scoring with 21 points. Hillary is second in scoring with 13 points. Michelle Huynh-Ba scored her team-leading 11th goal of the season as her new Spartans routed Northwestern 4-1. Jackie Ciconte leads the Terps in goals this season; she claimed #14, the game winner, in a 2-1 win over UNC. Whitney Wells scored the game winner in the first minute and added two more along the way as the Spiders wasted West Chester 9-0. Shannon Taylor netted the golden goal as UR edged LaSalle 2-1. Katie Stevenson and Sara Schmidt recorded assists in Big Five hockey wins this week. Brittany Touchard scored twice against Villa Julie as Christopher Newport extended their winning streak to eight. Alex Albright scored and assisted in the Camels’ 2-1 win over Colby. Meghan Hihn found the cage twice this week for the Red Devils. Alli Stanley picked up an assist in Etown’s win over Dickinson. Brittany Croll enjoyed a six-point game against Dickinson with two goals and two assists. Whitney Plaster assisted on the game winner for the Fighting Scots at Becker. Jenn Norris and Anastasia Likanchuk scored for the Mighty Macs this week. Jamie Zubrow scored at Bryn Mawr for the Blue Jays. Andrea Fleming bagged her twentieth of the season as Lynchburg extended its unbeaten string to ten with a 2-1 overtime victory over St Mary’s. Jenna Schwind‘s sixteen goals lead Messiah; her 16th came in a 2-1 victory at TCNJ. Brittany Elliott had two with an assist and Danielle Twilley added one of each as Salisbury smacked Frostburg 5-1. Stephanie Smith stopped 13 shots to save Stevens’ 2-1 win against FDU. Summer Spicer’s eleventh goal of the season was an OT GW for Swat. Kate Lester scored a goal in all three as Washington and Lee enjoyed a 3-0 week. Nikki Bosso had a goal and an assist as the Pioneers finished the regular season. Dani Vincent scored twice, Lindsey Williams once in the Wolverines’ 3-2 OT victory over Neumann.
