Camacho Captures First Gold of DSG IV

WILMINGTON - Epi Camacho from Wilmington won the Diamond State Games gold
medal in the 5K event at the Wilmington Waterfront on Saturday.

The 47-year old Camacho ran the 5000-meter race in a time of 19:00 and was
followed in the overall competition by Michael Hawrylo of Newark 58 seconds
later.

Donna Bushey from West Chester, PA was the women's overall winner with a
time of 21:46. Her daughter Allison was second overall in 22:36.

Bradley Lane from Newark won the mens walk division. His gold medal was his
6th Diamond State Games gold medal in three years increasing his record. He
captured four gold medals in the 2003 DSG Track and Field event and the walk
at the 5K in last year's DSG.
